“I first began helping with the day-to-day administration duties such as bookings and updating documents, then after I completed my training and understood all the polices, I began working directly with young people. At first, I was nervous about being a 1:1 Mentor but I was so well supported by the rest of the team that I quickly settled into my new volunteer role. I now can’t imagine not being part of the team – volunteering with On The Verge has not only changed my life for the better but has allowed me to change the lives of young people too.
